Harvest Fest featuring Best in GrowTO Scarborough Contest

Scarborough will celebrate Toronto Urban Agriculture week with an urban-style agriculture contest for growers and fans of funny vegetables alike. Gardeners from Scarborough Food Network agencies and neighbourhood growers will vie for best, funniest and most creative locally-grown produce. Visitors of all ages can see what marvellous vegetables grow in city gardens, find out who has the most creative container and pollinator gardens and vote for audience favourite! A garden tour will give participants a unique loot bag – fresh vegetables harvested that day! Kids can compete to dig up the most potatoes in a Potato Treasure Hunt.
