10000 Trees for the Rouge

10000 Trees for the Rouge is an all-volunteer run charity dedicated to restoring natural habitats in the Rouge River watershed and the Greater Toronto Area. We engage members of the public to plant trees, shrubs and wildflowers to create new natural ecosystems and wildlife habitat. Every year, thousands of plants are planted by approximately 2000 volunteers through our events. We believe that parks should be designed as multi-functional spaces that serve both humans and wildlife.
