Littles Road Community Garden
Malvern Action for Neighbourhood Change (ANC) is a community-based initiative that works to improve the Malvern community. It is a partnership between United Way Toronto and Malvern Family Resource Center.
The Malvern Food Security Work Group is a resident-led committee in Malvern, working to increase awareness and education around growing local but also experiencing nature in a suburban setting.
The Littles Park Garden subcommittee is a group of 25 residents growing over 20 different crops in a community garden mixed with communal and individual plots. In addition, the group has organized a yoga and arts in the park along with a harvest festival and youth educational activities. We hope to increase this engagement where community members are better able to animate the park space through art and food.
