We are a non-profit organization, that works to connect vulnerable residents with resources. Our food security department manages 3 community gardens, and hosts as many events in the Chester Le Park as possible. Our purpose related to parks is trifold: to increase access to fresh vegetables by encouraging and helping people to grow their own in the community gardens, promoting a sense of community by using parks as a public space to do so, and to increase physical activity.
