Association des Jeunes de la Petite-Bourgogne

Youth in Motion provides activities to youth in a inner city zon called Little Burgundy where youth and their families live in Social Housing and form a mosaic of cultures and ethnic diversity. Youth in Motion provides in the Summer security and recreational activities through the Occupation des Parcs that is in collaboration with the Coalition Petite-Bourgogne and subsidized by the Mesures 4.2 of the CIUSSS grant for impoverished communities. Youth in Motion works in parks all summer doing B.B.Q. , Basketball, Soccer, Arts and Crafts and mainly we are famous for 2 major events, la Fete Nationale du Quebec on June 24th with a lamb mechoui for he last 7yrs and games and music for all families and also we host and organize the Little Burgundy Festival in September every year for the last 15 yrs. These events take place at Vinet Park and Oscar-Peterson Park in Little-Burgundy
