Blackburn Community Association Environment Committee

The Blackburn Community Association (BCA)'s Environment Committee has as a mandate to work collectively with residents of the Hamlet to bring positive environmental change to our community by promoting waste reduction, protection of green space, increasing the tree canopy, and restoring the native habitat. The Blackburn Hamlet Community Association has been involved for many years in planting trees in our local parks in collaboration with the city and Ecology Ottawa. We also hold an annual spring clean up to clean up the local parks and streets.
