City Centre Community Association

City Centre Community Association has been running recreation programs in the Richmond city core since September 1993. Our Association was registered as a society on January 5, 1994. Since then, we have steadily grown in our service to the community. We offer programs for all age groups including preschoolers, children, youth, adults, and seniors.

As part of our youth leadership program, groups of youth met on a weekly basis to plan and coordinate events based on their personal interests. Environmental stewardship is a topic that has sparked interest in our community. As a community centre based in the urban core of Richmond, connecting people to our parks is something that we care deeply about and this potential funding opportunity can help us achieve this goal.

Parks we work in:

  • Lang Park
  • Garden City Park
  • Minoru Park

Things we do:

  • community meals
  • dance
  • music
  • stewardship
  • table tennis (ping pong)
  • visual arts
  • workshops
  • yoga

Where you can find us
