Collectif BUS 123
Babel-o-drome, our project, involves deconstructing a theatrical play into a series of site-specific interactive scenes and a processional performance linking one to the other. The series explores the relationship between language, identity and communication.
The show looks at the following question: in the current globalized media chaos, in a world where fiction and reality collide, what is our own reality? Combining poetry, humor and fantasy, this show tackles the question in the form of dialogue, visual and musical tableaux.
We want to present our event in a park to bring together different cultures and generations of Toronto, and invite them to actively participate in a unique multimedia and theatrical presentation, free and open to all.
