Common Roots Urban Farms

Common Roots Urban Farm BiHi Park is a multi use community garden in Halifax. It is a combination of community gardens rented by individuals, families and community groups; a market garden where we run community programming and grow for sale and donation; and common gardens where flowers, herbs and food plants are grown to be enjoyed by everyone. We run educational programming through time spent in the garden, and community workshops.
Our Farm is a community space. People are welcome to relax on our benches or picnic tables, to drop in to volunteer with us in the garden, to attend workshops and to attend our community celebrations.
