DIG- Durham Integrated Growers for a Sustainable Community

DIG (Durham Integrated Growers for a Sustainable Community) brings together community members and organizations around community gardens, pollinator gardens, urban orchards, and other forms of urban agriculture. We support urban agriculture projects across Durham Region by mentoring them, promoting them, and advocating for policies to support them. In doing so, we promote community vibrancy, sustainable food production, environmental awareness, and ecological stewardship in urban, peri-urban, and rural green spaces.

Parks we work in:

  • Mary Street Community Garden
