Drôle Play

Drôle Play started in 2017 between Deborah Mesher and Melanie Gordon. We are an architectural designer and fine artist with a common goal to provide more opportunities for interactive art and loose parts play for children within the city of Toronto. Our goal in 2018 is to build and organize three pop up installations called LANDSCAPE FOLLEY. The folley is an installation composed of 100 idential objects designed and built specifically for children. The objects are arranged in an unfinished collective visual within a micro landscape of a park, and the children are invited to discover it, touch it, move it...basically play to their heart's content. FOLLEY is touchable art for children.
