ECHO Clubhouse

ECHO Burnaby Clubhouse supports adults with mental health challenges in their rehabilitation and recovery journey through holistic programming.

Honoring the fact that being out in nature is as healing as any medicine, ECHO Staff support the Members in getting out and about as often as possible. Each year, in partnership with other community organizations, ECHO puts on a Mental Health Walk in Deer Lake Park to bring together those with common experiences. We also have multiple games and picnic days Deer Lake Park, where Members can enjoy a packed lunch, kayaking, all kinds of sports and activities, as well as a walk around the lake. As well as recreational opportunities, we have done programming on the spirituality of trees and the forest, allowing space for Members to explore that aspect if it helps their wellness.

We also offer programs that range from vocational (job, volunteering, education), leisure and recreation, health and wellness, to personal education. ECHO supports individuals in their wellness journey, while providing a safe place to connect, reducing isolation and increasing well-being.
