EXATEC Ontario Professional Network

EXATEC Ontario Professional Network is a legally registered non-profit organization that works to contribute to the professional, social and cultural development of qualified Mexican Professionals residing in Ontario, aiming to facilitate better recognition of its members in the Canadian marketplace and society at large.

Founded in 2002 and with over 500 members, EXATEC Ontario is part of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council’s Professional Immigrant Networks Program (TRIEC PINs), the Magnet Network and the Latin Network Beyond Boundaries.

In the past, we have hosted social and community events as a way to connect and strengthen our bonds with our members, gathering families and building community. We would like to reach and invite more people to join us to create awareness about green spaces and stewardship activities while enjoying the parks around the city.

Parks we work in:

  • High Park
  • Toronto Islands

Things we do:

  • cleanups
  • invasive species removal
  • picnics/bbqs

We're looking for volunteers in these areas:

  • Occasional volunteers
