Greenest City Environmental Organization

Greenest City facilitates and supports the HOPE Community Garden and the Dunn Learning Garden with leadership support, decision-making, builds, events, workshops, potlucks, planting and watering. We are a food and environment organization that celebrates Growing good food, sharing good food, connecting people with their community and connecting people with the environment. We also have partnered with Friends of Masaryk Park and in 2018 will be deepening this partnership to include Eco-Family workshops and a Harvest Festival.

Friends of Masaryk Park: We are working towards creating a more inviting gathering place for everyone in the community. We want this park to be a model of the innovative use of a small space for a diverse group of people. There are so many ways to make this park great. We have led pumpkin parades, park clean ups, plantings, and small fundraisers for Friends of Masaryk Park. We will be partnering with Greenest City to support the Eco-Family workshops, the Harvest Festival and will be leading arts and culture activities that include drumming for teens and adults, and neighbourhood storytelling for children
