Hawkwood Community Association

Hawkwood Community Association (HCA) is participating community with the City of Calgary Enhanced Landscape Maintenance program. The HCA is responsible for all turf care, flowers, and litter control in all 60+ green spaces within the community. It is administered by volunteer board members. The HCA wishes to expand the scope of the program to not only include the actual work required to care for the parks but to raise awareness and stewardship among residents with respect to our cared for parks and natural areas.

• Hawkhill Park

Things we do:

• advocacy
• cleanups
• environmental education
• environmental restoration
• gardening
• invasive species removal
• nature walks
• stewardship
