IMAPON
IMAPON are artist-in-studio residents through the Vancouver Parks Board, Arts Culture and Environment office (VPB) at Aberthau Mansion West Point Grey Community Centre (2013-2018). LocoMotoArt joined Village Vancouver's field house residency at McBride Park 2019–2022. LocoMotoArt will also present a series of community art projects and events related to food, art, nature and technology, and soundscape.
Since 2009, IMAPON/LocoMoto Art has used the urban natural landscape to combine the multi- sensory realm of digital art technologies and interactivity with the sensorial aspects of natural setting as a form of art expression they term digital eco-art. This kind of presentation provides an aesthetic that is inclusive of social interaction and multi-sensory experiences.
In addition the group partners with other organizations to create and produce outdoor and indoor projects on the theme of heritage, Canadian Military history, heritage themed works.
