Lansdowne Park-City of Ottawa
We provide recreational and cultural programming in both outdoor park spaces and inside the two heritage buildings on site.
Lansdowne Park is a lively multi-use space and is home to a wide variety of events. In addition to registered recreation programs we offer many free community programs.
During the summer months there are movies in the park, concerts and theatre performances, family activities on the Water Plaza, Full Moon Yoga and educational programs in the Civic Garden. The Civic Garden and Heritage Apple Orchard also produce food which goes to local food banks. Lansdowne Park is also home to a unique playground, basketball courts, a skate park and lots of green space.
In the fall Lansdowne Park is host to the wild and wacky Pumpkin Derby.
During the winter visitors can enjoy skating on the rink, Snowmania and other winter fun.
Lansdowne Park is home to the Ottawa Farmers Market year-round.
Lansdowne Park is a place for people to meet, learn, share, play and relax.
