Macaulay Child Development Centre

Macaulay Child Development Centre is a charitable organization committed to helping all children reach their full potential and thrive. Knowing the best way to help a child succeed is to support the child’s family and community.
Participating in the park events would help us to reconnect to our families, to the communities after Covid 19. The pandemic has taken a toll on people both physically and mentally. We need to come together with a purpose and feel part of something. We ideally would like to do this when we are back in person. If we cannot do in person then we would go to plan B; do a virtual gathering.
Our idea is to be at three different parks so that families have easier access. We want the children engaged in different activities; planting herb garden to take home, participate in a nature scavenger hunt, making arts from lose nature parts and participate in physical gross motor activity.
We are hoping to partner with non for profit agencies Right Path World Arts Centre. We want children to explore arts through storytelling, drama and movement.
