Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House plays a leadership role in building a healthy and engaged neighbourhood by connecting people and strengthening their capacity to create change. MPNH FRP has been organizing or co-organizing Family Literacy festival at Robson Park as well as weekly summer gatherings at Robson Park or other nearby parks. Our focus is to provide preschool art/craft activities for children 0-5yrs old and their families, network and nature walks or guest speakers who would talk about Indigenous culture around native plants and vegetables and edible flowers who might be available in public display gardens. Our program also invites local artists, singers, storytellers and VPL to join us.
