Oriole Park Community Garden

OPCG is a community garden maintained by a volunteer steering committee. We encourage all community members to partake in the garden as a way to promote the principles of sustainable gardening, urban organic gardening, foster community relationships, meet your neighbours, and educate your children about various foods or to use it simply as a green space to sit and reflect quietly. OPCG is comprised of three raised beds. The largest bed contains plants native to the province, the second largest bed is a mixture of vegetables and herbs and the smallest bed is the herbs bed. Since its completion, the committee members have grown harvested and donated produce to the Churches on the Hill Food Bank (COTH).
