Parkdale & Toronto Horticultural Society

We are a recognized not-for-profit that helps to make possible numerous public city gardens (pollinator gardens, edible gardens, therapeutic gardens, heritage gardens) that make for a more livable city . To do so, we raise funds through various events like garden tours, book sales, and our popular annual Plant Fair (held on the Saturday before Mother’s Day).

Additionally, we are committed to the encouragement of gardening in schools, and to outreach that makes gardening accessible to those of all ages and physical or mental abilities.

We believe that some things, like gardens, can cut through all boundaries and open the door to mutual understanding.
