Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre

The Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre offers social services to residents of Ward 13, which represent about 49,000 people. Our mission is to provide a range of social supports and services that enable the empowerment of residents, community resilience, and the inclusion of all" and vision is " a secure, dignified, and rewarding life for all residents of Rideau-Rockcliffe".

In order to achieve our mission and vision, our Community Development and Community Support works with residents and bring them together to enhance the sense of community belonging and foster leadership and empowerment in our community. Every year, we organize community celebrations in our local parks such as Movies in the Park, Family Day Celebration, and our famous Lumière Festival, that attracts about 2500-3000 Ottawa residents and many volunteers (all backgrounds and ages) who build the lanterns for the Festival .
