Riverdale Community League
The Riverdale Community League supports a number of initiatives that protect, celebrate, and activate our park spaces.
Initiatives in this park space specifically would include:
The Riverdale Community Garden which is a pesticide free gardening space available to all our neighbours.
The Edible Food Forest which contains perennial food producers such as honey berries, apples, raspberries, and asparagus.
The Solar Gazebo. Established in 2016 this 1GH solar panel in the park generates power for our groups hall and is one component of our effort to become carbon neutral. We recently used the Gazebo as a stage space for a neighbourhood Potluck in the Park.
