Solar Climate Concerts

We are an ad hoc group of Halifax based musicians and organizers that are involved with community mental health, community care, and environmental climate change issues; Ross Unger is a musician who also runs a social justice community arts nonprofit called dramatic changes; Micalea Comeau is a musician who also works with summer camps creating children’s musicals about community care and selfcare; Jared Dempsey is a musician who also works at a nonprofit called Youth Art Connection that helps young artists become entrepreneurs. Laura Gallant is a musician who also teaches yoga. Each of us has experience organizing and hosting events and we came together for this project because we are musicians living in a time of climate crisis and we want to use our music for good.

Come join us this summer to enjoy and protect the beauty of our green spaces, enjoy great music and learn more about what we can do to protect our green spaces.
