Warden Woods Community Centre
Warden Woods has been working in Southwest Scarborough since 1966 and has always served children, young people, families and older adults primarily located in Toronto’s third largest social Housing communities. For over 50 years WWCC has helped cultivate social and economic empowerment across the growing communities we serve. Our Mission is to build “caring, compassionate, equitable, inclusive and interdependent communities in Southwest Scarborough”. We host community festivals, BBQ's and movie nights to bring the community together and increase community engagement. We find that hosting festivals in parks is a great way in bringing the diverse community together for better interaction, knowing one another, participating in different activities and it a family time for the community.
