Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre
Established in 1991,Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre is a non-profit, City of Toronto agency that is overseen by a volunteer community board. WNC offers a broad range of responsive programs/services for people of all ages-welcoming 226,115+ participants to 546+ programs each year. WNC is committed to improving the quality of life for all, playing an integral role in meeting the needs of local vulnerable children,at-risk youth, marginalized families & isolated adults/seniors. We promote healthy living,provide free access to organic gardening,reduce the effects of social barriers/isolation, provide skill-building opportunities & encourage community engagement. WNC is located along Toronto's waterfront and across from Little Norway Park. We encourage our community to make the most of its unique waterfront location by offering a variety of outdoor activities and intergenerational programs.
