Woodcroft Community League

Founded in 1957, to provide a gathering place for community members including a skating facility for neighbourhood families, the Woodcroft Community League has always been a positive force in promoting active living. The community league is located in Coronation Park, named in honour of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Today, the Woodcroft Community League flourishes with a playground, spray park, community hall, an outdoor rink for public skating & shinny hockey and 4 beach volleyball courts. As well as access to Coronation Park and the many paths within the park.

Parks we work in:

  • Coronation Park
  • Woodcroft Community Playground (City of Edmonton maintains this)
  • Woodcroft Lease land (rink, fire pit, and west side green space)

Things we do:

  • campfire

  • crafts/folk art
  • dance
  • movie nights
  • picnics/bbqs
  • playground
  • workshops
