This is an online event!

Sweet Grass Roots Collective invites the Indigenous community, and our family, friends and allies to join us for a virtual, interactive earth-work project at Black Creek Community Farm. We will be creating virtual and physical space for Indigneous people, for our plants and medicines and our stories. Sweet Grass Roots Collective will host weekly online activities throughout the growing season, culminating in an earth-based art installation of plants, medicines, stories and sculpture. In our private facebook group, we will engage community members with cultural teachings, art activities songs and stories. We will have two live programs a month where we invite members to join us. We will share cultural teachings, ask you to join us in the ceremony of earth work, and participate in interactive activities with medicines, art and storytelling. Join us for the whole growing season! Stay connected to each other and to the land.
