Visit the beautiful Credit Valley watershed with a guided walk through the Terra Cotta Conservation Area and presentation about the protection of watersheds and water resources, followed by a tractor-drawn wagon ride to a picnic pavilion.

Terra Cotta Conservation Area is home to one of Ontario’s most beautiful natural landscapes, and with accessible trails and walkways. Home to many unique species of plants and animals, Terra Cotta is a beautiful place to see, experience, and learn about nature, water and our environment.


Suggested Itinerary

Plan to arrive at Terra Cotta between 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Terra Cotta is located about an hour and fifteen minutes from Toronto, and less than 30 minutes from Brampton. We suggest hiring a tour bus for the day. This destination is ideal for groups of children

Terra Cotta is located at 14452 Winston Churchill Boulevard, Halton Hills, ON L0P 1N0 and is not accessible by public transit. Parking is included in the price of admission and is available on site.

Morning Activities
Begin the day with an introduction to Terra Cotta from an expert guide and learn about the restoration work done over the past 20 years that has re-naturalized this area. The guide will take the group on a walk past incredible views of the Conservation Area’s special features.

After the walk, a tractor-drawn wagon will take the group deeper into the Conservation Area and end at a picnic pavilion for lunch. A barbeque is available for rent.
