Member, Coalition des ami•es du parc Jarry
Marc Langlois has been a member of the Coalition des ami·es du parc Jarry since its founding, over 20 years ago. He has frequently served on the organization’s Board of Directors and is currently its Treasurer. He has been involved in some of the major debates shaping the recent history of the park. This includes the establishment of Tennis Canada with the transfer of a part of the public space, the establishment and expansion of a police station in the park, and the discussion and monitoring of two master plans.
Marc lives in Parc-Extension, a neighbourhood adjacent to the park. He is also a member of Locomotion, a community group that promotes active transportation and the shared use of bike trailers, cargo bikes, and cars among residents.
