Michelle holds a PhD in Research Methods and Statistics (University of Denver), and a Postdoc on digitizing elder wisdom (Department of Education, Simon Fraser University).
In addition to her work with the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness (GVCEH), doing business as the Alliance to End Homelessness in the Capital Region (AEHCR), Michelle volunteers and is a board member for Community Research Ethics Office (CREO); serves as the Vancouver Island coordinator for the BC Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society; and is the Program Chair of Statistics Without Borders (SWB), a volunteer Outreach Group of the American Statistical Association (ASA) that provides pro bono services in statistics and data science.
